Rotec sleeves are manufactured using the latest manufacturing and production processes. The materials used are subjected to constant quality control procedures carried out. Rotec sleeves distinguishes itself by its longevity, application safety, accuracy and flexibility.

Released by Rotec in 2007, the new Omega Blue Light Sleeves guarantee not only the conductibility required, but also feature an extremely long service life of the surface and conductibility.
What is exceptional here is that instead of coating the time-tested Blue Light Sleeves and thus making the surface more susceptible to damage, Rotec developed a special surface definition on a polyurethane base. As a result, the sleeve surface becomes conductive and the surface resistance to wear is maintained completely - unlike a coating. In a nutshell, the Omega Blue Light Sleeves are exactly the same as conventional Blue Light Sleeves; offering excellent solvent and cutting resistance and superb durability.
For this product line, Rotec uses exclusively conductible raw materials. This even includes the substructure, i.e. the inner part of the sleeve. The Omega-sleeve reliably and permanently minimizes the potential danger caused by an overload of electrostatic charge in the printing press. It fulfills both the demands of the trades association as well as the Atex-Guidelines valid since 1st July 2003, whose requirements are clearly fulfilled.
In initially equipping modern central cylinder presses, most users, as in this case, choose the Omega-Blue-Light-Sleeves product option. In contrast to products, whose surfaces have been treated with an electricity conducting coating, they provide a permanent solution of a higher quality. The function of conductible coatings can be compromised by the unavoidable handling in the printing facility – e.g. by cutting on the sleeve surface or cleaning using chemicals. The use of the Omega-Technology guarantees conductibility by the very raw material used so that this characteristic is completely maintained even despite external influences. Because the sleeves are manufactured completely from conductible materials, they also do not contain any additional mechanical components. In practice this has the advantage that the conductibility of the Omega-Sleeves is effective over the whole face width. In addition the possibility that conductibility might be compromised by wear is excluded.
Rotec therefore gives a 10 year guarantee for this function, on condition of appropriate use.
